The Larapinta takes in a variety of desert habitats before rewarding trekkers with 360° views from Mount Sonder – the highest point marking the end of the Trail.
There are walks, great walks and then there’s the Larapinta Trail
We can offer a fully trained guide who is experienced and passionate about the area as well as full ground support crew to transport luggage and set-up camp each night so all you have to concentrate on is enjoying your trek.
We can also cater for larger groups of up to 16 people in our large Mitsubishi Canter 4WD vehicles or more with multiple vehicles in “tag-a-long.”
Everything far surpassed my expectations, , the walk itself was fantastic but my thanks and appreciation go out to our guide for his experience, local knowledge, delicious cooking and generousity of spirit.
It exceeded all our expectations largely due to the efforts of Katie, Josh and Chris. Nothing was too much trouble. And the food they created out of the embers was a bonus that none of us expected.
I had a fantastic time on the trek and Di and Adam are amazing! They are great at what they do and made the trip very enjoyable and always had a smile and a laugh with the group!
The trail has acquired an international reputation as a tough, challenging trek prompting National Geographic to number it among the top 20 such experiences to be had on the planet.
